We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with the University of Essex to produce their alumni magazine, Essex Effect. Red Onion fought off strong competition to redesign the title.
The objective was to engage with the wide age range, and diverse interests of the alumni readership – whilst taking on board the strong and evolving Essex brand and ethos.
Our solution is to create an image-led title and introduce a new condensed typeface to give the magazine a unique visual voice. Working alongside the internal team, photography was commissioned especially for the magazine, and high-end picture libraries were used to ensure the best quality.
